The Mutual Group (TMG) Insurance Services has officially named Patrick Markowski as its new senior vice president and chief operating officer.
Markowski brings over 30 years of leadership experience in the financial services sector. Before joining The Mutual Group, Markowski served as executive vice president and senior advisor to the North America CEO and executive team at Chubb.
He also held the position of chief operating officer for North America at Chubb and was responsible for leading the integration of the $30 billion acquisition of Chubb Insurance by ACE. Prior to his tenure at Chubb, Markowski held leadership roles at Wells Fargo Advisors, Wachovia, and Bank of America. He holds a degree from The Pennsylvania State University.
In his role as chief operating officer, The Mutual Group explained that Markowski will oversee strategic operations, technology, new member onboarding and integration, as well as the optimization of the company’s underwriting-focused platform.
The company also highlighted that his expertise in service management, shared services, mergers and acquisitions, automation, and technology is expected to play a key role in the company’s ongoing growth and development.
Markowski expressed his excitement about joining The Mutual Group, noting the company’s dedication to supporting the financial and operational stability of independent mutual insurers.
This announcement follows a recent leadership update at The Mutual Group, with Coleman Johnson being appointed as senior vice president and chief underwriting officer just last month.
