Two UK insurance firms have announced significant senior hires as they continue to expand their technology-driven propositions.
Augmented UW Names New Head of Underwriting
Augmented UW Ltd., a technology-led MGA specialising in the smart-follow insurance segment, has appointed Luke Overall as its new head of underwriting.
Overall brings more than 15 years of experience across both MGA and carrier environments, having held senior roles at Atrium, Beazley, and CFC. His background spans property, terrorism, cyber and liability lines, with a strong focus on binder-led portfolios and strategic underwriting partnerships.
In his new role, he will lead Augmented UW’s underwriting function, helping to advance the MGA’s tech-enabled strategy and working closely with brokers to develop data-driven panels that align capacity with risk.
Send Strengthens Leadership Team with New CTO
Send Technology Solutions has appointed Daniel Pass as chief technology officer to enhance the functionality and scalability of its insurance platform.
Pass previously served as CTO at challenger bank Perenna and has held senior technical positions at Betfred, where he oversaw major systems architecture and platform development.
