VIG Re has named Hong-Wha Ling as its chief people officer, a newly established role designed to enhance the company’s talent management and workforce development strategies.
In this position, Ling will oversee people management initiatives across VIG Re’s offices in Prague, Munich, and Paris, driving efforts to foster a dynamic and inclusive workplace culture.
An accomplished human resources executive, Ling brings extensive experience in aligning people strategies with business goals. Before joining VIG Re in 2025, he held key leadership positions at ING Bank and NN Group, including serving as head of HR at NN Group and chief HR officer at NN Turkey.
At VIG Re, Ling will spearhead strategic HR initiatives focused on culture, inclusion, and innovation, reinforcing the company’s long-term resilience and growth.
The appointment follows VIG Re’s achievement of Great Place to Work certification last year, underscoring its commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.
In addition to Ling’s appointment, VIG Re has also announced changes to its board of management, aimed at strengthening its strategic direction and operational performance.
