Vincent Harel has been named the chief executive officer of Verlingue, a leading insurance brokerage firm specializing in corporate protections.
Harel brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Most recently, he served as co-CEO of Marsh McLennan France in 2023 and was chairman of Mercer France from 2019. His tenure at Mercer began in 2003, where he played a key role in third-party administration for healthcare and private medical plans before transitioning into insurance advisory, broking, and business development.
Verlingue is part of the Adelaide insurance brokerage group, which also encompasses Generation, Cocoon, and Dune. The company has been actively expanding its footprint in Europe, strengthening its position as a key player in the insurance brokerage sector.
Verlingue has pursued strategic growth across Europe in recent years. In November 2024, the company acquired ProConseils Solutions, a significant player in the French-speaking Swiss insurance brokerage market, reinforcing its presence in Switzerland.
Additionally, in 2023, Verlingue acquired Brundson Employee Benefits, an independent employee benefits specialist based in Gloucester. The company also rebranded NBJ London Markets to Verlingue London Markets, further solidifying its standing in the insurance brokerage industry.
With Harel at the helm, Verlingue is poised for continued growth and innovation in the European insurance market.
