WTW has brought in Karen Grote (pictured) as division line of business leader (DLL) for its North America life practice within the insurance consulting & technology (ICT) business.
As DLL, Grote is set to drive growth and elevate client offerings across WTW’s life practice, working in partnership with fellow leader Mary Bahna-Nolan.
With nearly two decades of experience in the life insurance industry, Grote returns to WTW, bringing a robust background in financial modelling, product innovation, and leadership development.
As DLL, Grote’s responsibilities will involve delivering client-focused solutions that align with the evolving needs of life insurance providers across North America. This appointment marks a return to WTW for Grote, who previously led key offices in Philadelphia and New York, where she built high-performing teams and implemented strategic initiatives to benefit clients.
Grote, an actuary with a mathematics degree and a teaching certification, has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to fostering industry excellence and professional development.
“Karen’s return to WTW is a tremendous asset for our North America life practice,” commented Kim Steiner, head of the North America life practice within ICT at WTW. “Her vast experience and enthusiasm for innovation will be instrumental as we continue delivering outstanding solutions to our clients in this dynamic market.”
Grote came on board on October 14, while Bahna-Nolan started her duties on October 1.
