Willis, a WTW business, has appointed Louie Clarke (pictured) as global head of claims strategy and execution within its Risk & Broking division.
In his new role, Clarke will lead the development and delivery of Willis’ global claims services and solutions, supporting clients across all regions and industry specialties. Based in London, he will join the firm’s global claims leadership team and report directly to Neil Harrison, global head of claims at WTW.
Clarke brings extensive experience in claims leadership, having previously held senior roles at Aon before joining WTW.
WTW operates across more than 140 countries, offering data-driven insights and solutions in people, risk and capital management. In the third quarter of 2025, the company’s Risk & Broking division reported revenue of US$1.01 billion (C$1.416 billion), up 7% year-on-year.
While WTW’s overall revenue trends have fluctuated in recent quarters, the firm has maintained steady organic growth across key business segments. In the first quarter of 2025, revenue reached US$2.22 billion, a 5% decline compared to the previous year, but organic growth remained at 5%.
Across the Canadian insurance and risk management landscape, market conditions continue to evolve. Aon’s Spring 2025 Canadian Insurance Market Update noted that the commercial property and casualty sector remains well-capitalised despite record catastrophe losses. However, Aon’s Fall 2025 update pointed to a softening market, with greater capacity, heightened competition, and insurers focusing on client retention through broader coverage offerings.
