Yutree And Peach Launch Property Owners Binder To Meet Growing Broker Demand

Commercial insurance brokerage and underwriting agency Yutree has joined forces with specialist commercial insurer Peach to launch a new property owners binder.

The product builds on Yutree’s existing property cover binder—introduced nearly two years ago with capacity from Peach—and is designed for brokers seeking fast turnaround times or solutions for risks outside conventional market appetite.

Both companies share a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions for SME clients, tailoring products to individual requirements and driving growth through strategic collaboration.

The launch aligns with Yutree’s broader growth strategy for its underwriting division following its management buyout (MBO) in April, which saw the business move to independent ownership under Laura Hancock and Kevin Hancock.

This move comes amid a slowdown in UK broker M&A activity, with 35 transactions recorded year-to-date as of April 2025—down 26% from the same period in 2024.

Since the MBO, Yutree has implemented several organisational initiatives, including appointing a non-executive director, preparing to open a Norwich office to strengthen its East Anglia footprint, hiring a business development manager, and promoting Becky Glover to director of finance and technology.
