Alliant Insurance Services is proud to announce the addition of Lori Crandall and Julie Rison as senior vice presidents, bolstering its leadership and enhancing its service capabilities across various sectors and regions.
Lori Crandall Joins Employee Benefits Group
Lori Crandall has been appointed as senior vice president in Alliant’s Employee Benefits Group, where she will play a crucial role in supporting clients throughout the Southwest and Western regions. Crandall is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and expertise.
Before joining Alliant, Crandall spent 21 years as a senior vice president at a major national brokerage. She has been actively involved with the National Association of Insurance & Benefits Professionals (NABIP), serving on the National Legislative Council and as the PAC chair for NABIP’s Arizona chapter.
Crandall holds a bachelor’s degree in sports medicine and exercise physiology from the University of Pittsburgh. She currently serves as the vice president of the PAC for NABIP and heads the governance committee for Feeding Matters, a non-profit focused on pediatric feeding disorders.
Her extensive experience includes working with mid-market clients and expertise in alternative funding, strategic planning, clinical/population health management, contract analysis, communication, and compliance. Kevin Overbey, president of Alliant Employee Benefits, praised Crandall’s appointment as a significant addition to the firm.
Julie Rison Joins Alliant Private Client
Additionally, Julie Rison has been named senior vice president for Alliant Private Client. Based in Virginia, Rison will be instrumental in driving the division’s strategic growth and expanding its reach across key markets nationwide. Alliant Private Client specializes in risk management services for the high-net-worth sector, and Rison’s expertise is expected to significantly enhance the division’s effectiveness.
Rison previously served as senior vice president of the private client division at another professional services firm. She holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Northern Iowa.
In her new role, Rison will work closely with Cindy Zobian, managing director, and other executives within the Private Client team to seize opportunities in the Mid-Atlantic region. With over three decades of experience in the insurance industry, Rison brings deep expertise concerning carrier operations and the unique requirements of family enterprises. She has also participated on several national agency councils and is actively involved with the non-profit organization Richmond City Gives.
