Cowbell, a leading provider of cyber insurance for small and medium-sized enterprises, has announced the appointment of Tim Regilio as Head of the Western US Territory.
Regilio brings over two decades of experience in the insurance industry, most recently serving as Director of Business Development at Sayata. During his tenure at Sayata, he played a pivotal role in building the U.S. wholesale broker distribution network and spearheading new business initiatives.
Before his time at Sayata, Regilio served as Head of Broker Relations for Beazley Insurance’s northwest region, where he managed key relationships with national brokers and supported underwriting growth. His career also includes senior positions at AIG and Principal Financial Group, further showcasing his extensive expertise in the insurance sector.
In his new role at Cowbell, Regilio will be responsible for driving strategic direction, leading a sales team, increasing revenue, expanding market share, and forging strategic partnerships across the western United States.
He will report directly to Simon Hughes, Senior Vice President for Global Distribution, and will oversee broker and partner relationships, identify new business opportunities, and collaborate across teams to support the company’s growth.

This appointment comes as Cowbell continues to expand its team and services. Last year, the company named Denise Pagliarulo to lead its finance team, overseeing global finance operations amid the company’s growth in products, services, and geographic presence. Additionally, Cowbell promoted Eric Biderman to General Counsel, entrusting him with managing the company’s legal and regulatory compliance functions.
