Lockton has announced the appointment of Ritu Sakuja as Senior Vice President of Product Management. In her new role, Sakuja will spearhead initiatives to enhance the development and delivery of digital products within Lockton’s People Solutions division.
Sakuja joins Lockton with more than 20 years of experience in product strategy and management, specializing in technical product innovation and digital consulting across the technology, human resources, and healthcare sectors. Before her appointment, she held leadership positions at Amazon, Mercer Human Resources Consulting, and Humana.
Commenting on her new role, Sakuja expressed her excitement to joining the company.
“Lockton has a long history of continuous innovation, and the need for new thinking has never been higher with healthcare costs continuing at such high rates,” she added.
Sakuja holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in computer science from Kurukshetra University.
This announcement follows recent key appointments at Lockton, including Daniel Moruzzi and Matthew Cope as senior brokers in the company’s international property and casualty division based in London. Additionally, last year the firm launched Lockton Re Portfolio Solutions, a US-focused business segment dedicated to programs and managing general agents, which is led by Jeff Fleming.
Lockton, a privately held insurance brokerage firm, operates with a global presence of over 12,500 associates in more than 140 countries. The company provides a wide range of services, including risk management and insurance solutions.
