Sedgwick has announced the appointment of Paul White as its next CEO, International, effective January 1, 2026, following the planned retirement of Tom Simoncic.
The transition marks a key step in Sedgwick’s ongoing succession and leadership development strategy across its global operations.
Simoncic, currently President of Global Property and International, will retire after 18 years with the company. Throughout his tenure, he has been instrumental in steering Sedgwick’s international property business and strengthening its operational footprint across multiple regions. The company credited Simoncic’s leadership for driving sustained growth in international markets while maintaining a strong focus on clients and colleagues.
White, who presently serves as Regional CEO for International Operations, oversees markets including the United Kingdom, Australia, Asia, the Middle East, New Zealand, and South Africa. Since taking on this role in 2023, he has built on a long-standing career within Sedgwick and its predecessor companies. His previous roles include CEO for the UK and Rest of International Operations, Deputy CEO, and Chief Operating Officer for the UK and Ireland during his tenure at Cunningham Lindsey.
Earlier in his career, White held senior positions as Operations Director and Commercial Director at Cunningham Lindsey, where he managed service delivery and operational performance across multiple regions. With over a decade of experience in risk management and claims administration, he has led international teams and contributed to market expansion through strategic oversight and operational excellence.
White’s appointment continues a period of significant leadership evolution at Sedgwick. In August, the company named Kalani Reelitz as Chief Financial Officer, responsible for financial strategy, planning, reporting, and capital structure. Earlier this year, Sedgwick also announced new regional CEOs in Japan and Taiwan—Shuji Tanaka and Cameron Lee, respectively—while their predecessors, Takeshi Nagao and Huoo-Lian Liou, moving into chairman roles.
