Reinsurance Group of America (RGA) has appointed Scott Grandmont as Vice President (VP) of Strategic Underwriting Initiatives.
The Reinsurance Group of America logo role will see Grandmont lead a diverse group of underwriting, actuarial, technology, and client engagement professionals responsible for underwriting innovation, research & development, program design and refinement, new capabilities, as well as underwriting transformation efforts that will help partners support their unique competitive advantage and create value for their stakeholders.
Grandmont first joined RGA in 2015 as VP, of Underwriting Solutions.
Before RGA, Grandmont spent over six years working at RGAX, a subsidiary of RGA. During his tenure at the firm, he served as VP, as well as Chief Operations Officer-Greenhouse Life; VP, where he was responsible for the strategic direction and activities of the firm’s Greenhouse organization.
Additionally, Grandmont previously spent over 14 years working at Phoenix Life Insurance Company.
