Ryan Specialty has declared the launch of Ryan Transactional Risk, a global transactional risk practice.
The global managing general underwriting practice was created by combining the operations of New York-based Concord Specialty Risks and London-headquartered Ryan Specialty Transactional Risks International.
- Ryan Transactional Risk will be led by four managing directors, each an executive of one of the existing MGUs.
- Representations and warranties and warranty and indemnity will be led globally by James Montgomery, George Pearce, and Rich Stansfield
- David S. De Berry will lead specific litigation and contingent liability insurance management, innovation, and global expansion
- Tax insurance will be coordinated by the managing directors, supported by Bill Kellogg in North America and Kerry Westwell for the rest of the world, with an emphasis on serving multinational enterprises
