Butterworth Spengler, a prominent insurance broker in the North West, is undergoing a comprehensive rebranding effort leading up to its centennial celebration.
Originally established in Liverpool, Butterworth Spengler became part of the JMG Group in 2021. John Lacey believes that this move has fueled the directors’ ambitious growth plans for the business, stating, “Joining JMG has elevated our performance. We were determined to expand, and this has significantly accelerated our progress.”
The directors at Butterworth Spengler view the rebranding as a crucial component of their broader growth strategy. As part of this strategy, they are actively pursuing acquisitions. Their first acquisition was the Gloucester-based insurance broker Brunsdon, which underwent a name change to Butterworth Spengler South West Ltd in 2022.
Butterworth Spengler operates through three distinct divisions: Commercial insurance, professional risks, and specialist schemes. The company specializes in servicing professional, commercial, and manufacturing sectors, including property, construction, retail, haulage, and leisure.
The new logo incorporates elements of the JMG Group, and additional changes extend to a refreshed appearance for Butterworth Spengler’s website.
