Capitol Special Risks announces new President.

Capitol Special Risks (CSRisks), a division of specialty program group LLC, announced Amanda Sedliak as a president, and she will be succeeding Dorothea Westin for this role.

Dorothea Westin told Amanda to the company as an employee, then she had the good sense to become her protégé, she had the good sense to make Ananda a sales partner. With tremendous pride and support, they announce Amanda’s rise as President of CSRisks, a division of a specialty program group. She also said the past year had been one of the challenges and change. One of the most prime lessons from this change is that previous business models will not be relevant adaptations and innovations that bring a company into the future; as the company innovates and adapts, they entrust its leadership to Amanda.

Amanda joined Capitol Special Risks in 1998 as Account Manager. Since then, she has been working her way up the ranks from Director of Marketing, Vice President, and Senior Vice President to Director of the Brokerage. Before joining CSRisks, she was an underwriting assistant and underwriting technician with the American International Group.

Amanda Sedliak is a Certified Insurance Service Representative, Certified Insurance Chancellor, and a licensed property and accident broker; and is also a member of the Professional Insurance Agents Association of Georgia, the National Association of Insurance Women, Professional Liability Underwriters Society, and the 1752 Club. The IBA recognized her as one of the industry’s top specialist brokers in 2018.

The President and CEO of the specialty program group Chris Treanor said that he is thrilled that Amanda will be CSRisks’ next President; she is a talented broker and leader. He finds himself confident that she will take the business to the next level and continue that track record of success created by Dorothea and Levinson.
