Carbon Underwriting Bolsters Leadership Team With New Head Of Specialty

As per the recent news, Carbon Underwriting, known as a distinguished specialist and independent managing general underwriting platform, and Lloyd’s syndicate, jointly has announced the appointment of Dale Willetts as Head of Specialty for leading the team onboard.

Looking at the establishment history of carbon underwriting- 

Carbon underwriting was established  in 2018 with an aim to fold the world of delegated underwriting on a plane of global benchmark. The following dynamic company is known for the importance of embracing modern technologies. Presently the firm has outraged a game-changing, bespoke approach using an open underwriting model in which the data drives that results in improved underwriting performance, therefore creating superior analysis and fluidity of portfolio management. Willetts, bringing a remarkable experience in wealth of leadership and specialty underwriting experience spanning three decades into his new position. He will be leading the team in spearheading the development and growth of Carbon’s Accident & Health (A&H) proposition in the upcoming year.

Prior to joining Carbon, he served as the Executive Vice President and Head of Specialty Lines at Sompo International for five years and built the A&H portfolio. With an expertise of supervising leadership roles at ANV, Travelers, and other specialty underwriters, Dale’s expertise is a valuable addition to Carbon’s leadership.
