Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has assigned Aston Lark’s chief executive Peter Blance as its president for 2022.
Blance is going to take over Aon UK CEO Julie Page, who was appointed as president last year, he will be taking over as President and chair of the president’s from 1 January 2022.
Blance currently leading Hasting Insurance Service Ltd, as non-executive chairman, which is one of the largest charted insurance brokers in the United Kingdom, and recently he served as chairman for one of the largest broker’s advisory boards at the British Insurance Brokers Association (BIBA).
Aston Lark said he is looking forward to becoming President of the Charted Insurance Institute (CII) in 2022 and he also said that he is going to work to reduce the gap between what consumers expect insurance service to entail and the reality. He will be working closely with Page before leading the company as President.
During CII’s AGM, Russel Higginbotham was also appointed as Deputy President. He was working as Swiss RE’s CEO reinsurance Asia and regional president Asia on 8 July 2019.
Sian Fisher, CEO of CII thanked Julie for her excellent and continuing work as president during all challenging times and he also said he is looking forward to work closely with Aston Lark as the new president in 2022, and with Peter how the company adapts, evolve and innovate company’s products and services in order to maintain the importance and relevance of insurance to the customers it serves.
