Chubb Appoints Industry Veteran As A Multinational Client Manager In UK, Ireland

Chubb has named business veteran Ed Nicklin as global client executive for its UK and Ireland (UKI) undertakings, effective immediately.

In his new role, Nicklin will be responsible for managing and formulating relationships with existing and newly acquired major accounts clients. He will also help create strategies that will create distant growth opportunities within the UKI major accounts area.

Before joining Chubb, Nicklin held several client relationships and industry development positions at leading insurance providers, including head of portfolio solutions and key account supervision, and broker development manager. He has been working in the insurance business for 18 years and holds an Advanced Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).

Nicklin will be founded in London and will report directly to Nick Lee, head of the major summaries division, UKI.

“[Nicklin] is a very well-known and popular figure in the market and brings with him a wealth of expertise and insights gained from nearly two decades working with brokers, risk managers, and insurance buyers from key global businesses,” Lee said. “Major accounts clients often have complex needs which change constantly and his experience makes him perfectly placed to work with our dealer partners so that we can best support our clients and contribute to the continued growth of this important part of our business.”
