Chubb Strengthens Accident & Health Division With Key Leadership Appointment

Chubb is reinforcing its Accident & Health (A&H) business with the appointment of Megan Lynch as senior vice president and head of sales and distribution for North America, effective March 3. In this role, Lynch will collaborate with business development managers and underwriters to identify growth opportunities, enhance partnerships within distribution networks, and promote Chubb’s A&H insurance offerings across North America.

Megan Lynch: Industry Expertise and Leadership

With over two decades of experience in the insurance industry, Megan Lynch has held leadership roles in business development and distribution. Prior to this appointment, she served as senior vice president of premier broker partnerships for Chubb Workplace Benefits. Since joining the company in 2019, Lynch has played a pivotal role in fostering relationships with key brokers, including Lincoln Financial Group, Lockton Companies, and Mercer, to drive business growth.

Lynch holds a bachelor’s degree in finance with a concentration in international business from Miami University, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Webster University.

Chubb’s Strategic Expansion

Lynch’s appointment aligns with Chubb’s ongoing expansion efforts, including a substantial investment in its corporate infrastructure. The company recently awarded a $94 million contract to Turner Construction Company for the interior development of its new headquarters in Philadelphia.

Operating in 54 countries and territories, Chubb offers a broad range of insurance solutions, including commercial insurance, personal property insurance, and casualty insurance. In 2024, Chubb reported a net income of $9.27 billion, reflecting a 2.7% increase from the previous year, with core operating income reaching $9.20 billion.

Lynch’s leadership is expected to further strengthen Chubb’s market position as the company continues its growth trajectory in the A&H sector.
