CRC Group, a leading wholesale specialty insurance distributor, proudly announces the addition of Lance Lee and Andrew Weinberg (pictured left and right, respectively) as the newest members of its esteemed underwriting team.
In a strategic move aimed at bolstering its nationwide presence and better serving its retail agency clients, CRC Group welcomes Lee and Weinberg to its cadre of underwriting professionals.
Lance Lee brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having embarked on his underwriting journey with Greenwich Transportation Underwriters, Inc. (GTU) in 2015. Over nearly a decade, he ascended through various roles within the company, including associate underwriter, commercial transportation underwriter, and lead-trucking underwriter trainer, ultimately attaining the position of assistant vice president for truck underwriting. Lee holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) and boasts multiple licenses and certifications, including a property and casualty insurance license from the State of Tennessee and a transportation risk insurance professional certification from the International Risk Management Institute, Inc. (IRMI).
Andrew Weinberg, meanwhile, commenced his underwriting career as a commercial transportation specialist at The Paladin Group, where he dedicated nearly four years honing his expertise. Prior to joining CRC Group, Weinberg served as an underwriter at Burns & Wilcox for over a year.
Both Lee and Weinberg assume the roles of underwriting team leaders, specializing in transportation. Lee will be based at CRC Group’s Clearwater, Florida office, while Weinberg will operate from the firm’s Minneapolis, Minnesota location.
The addition of Lee and Weinberg follows closely on the heels of CRC Group’s recent recruitment of two other accomplished underwriting team leaders, Michael Louderback and Sam Crawford. Louderback is stationed at the firm’s Denver, Colorado office, while Crawford holds court at the Tampa-Bayport, Florida location. These strategic appointments underscore CRC Group’s commitment to enhancing its underwriting capabilities and fostering growth across its expansive network.
