Hiscox, the specialist insurance and reinsurance company announced that from February 2022, Helen Rose would serve as the new chief financial officer of Hiscox London Market (HLM) and Hiscox Syndicates Limited (HSL).
Helen Rose will report to Kate Markham, Hiscox London Markets” chief executive officer (CEO). Rose will be on the Hiscox leadership team, acting as a strategic and commercial partner to CEO Kate.
Helen Rose brings more than ten years of industry experience to the rule, building her career with the Aspen group. She has served in different positions such as insurance chief financial officer, UK chief financial officer, and chief accounting officer. She has firsthand experience managing and financing transformation programmes, letting profitable businesses and developing teams throughout her career.
Kate Markham said the Hiscox London Market has ambitious plans across its portfolio, and Helen will bring valuable financial experience and understanding towards achieving the company’s goals. With a broad background in Banking and Insurance, Helen will provide a unique perspective to the company’s business. Kate also said that she is looking forward to welcoming her to the team.
Rose said it is enticing for prospects to join a business with Hiscox’s calibre and history. She added that she is excited to play a part in delivering long-term profitable growth. Before entering their insurance world, Helen Rose spent a decade in the banking industry working for Barclays, including as senior finance operating manager.
