Omaha National Group, Inc., a leading provider of workers’ compensation insurance, has announced the appointment of Joan Klucarich as its new chief actuary.
Klucarich brings extensive experience to the role, having most recently served as actuarial manager at Risk & Regulatory Consulting. Her prior positions include chief reserving actuary at Applied Underwriters and actuarial director at Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company. She is a fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
Founded in 2016, Omaha National specializes in workers’ compensation coverage for small and mid-sized businesses, particularly those in high-risk industries involving manual labor. The company operates through a robust network of more than 2,500 agencies, utilizing proprietary technology to enhance operational efficiency.
The firm recently bolstered its financial strength with $105 million in funding from a consortium of investors led by Agman. Other contributors include Accomplice, HighSage Ventures, Tull Investments, and Cohen & Co.
With over 200 employees and more than $190 million in in-force premiums, Omaha National continues to expand its footprint in the insurance market. Its policies hold an A- (Excellent) rating from AM Best, reflecting the company’s strong financial standing and operational excellence.
