Price Forbes Re has announced the appointment of Colin Kelley as its Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), a newly established role within the company.
In this position, Kelley will work closely with teams across insurance, reinsurance, and capital markets to create innovative solutions for Price Forbes Re’s global clients and trading partners. The appointment is pending regulatory and immigration approval in Bermuda.
The company highlighted that Kelley’s appointment supports its strategic growth plans in key markets, including Bermuda, London, and the US. Kelley will continue to report to Chris Bonard, president of Price Forbes Re.
Kelley joined the firm in 2020, bringing over 20 years of experience in insurance and reinsurance. Before joining, he held senior roles at Sompo International, including commercial lines practice leader for professional lines.
He also expressed confidence in the team’s enthusiasm for the company’s direction and highlighted his commitment to advancing the business in his new role.
Bonard added Kelley’s industry knowledge and familiarity with Price Forbes Re’s ethos made him a strong fit for the CCO role.
Earlier this month, the firm also brought in Brian Cole to serve as executive vice president and head of financial lines as part of its effort to expand its offerings in the US market.
