Qdos Contractor Finalizes £500k Digital Revamp

Tokio Marine HCC subsidiary Qdos Contractor has completed its digital revamp, unveiling a new brand and customer-centric website.

Worth £500,000, the transformation project provided Qdos a streamlined quote journey for faster insurance transactions, a product personalization feature, as well as the benefit of enabling users to make policy amendments online. The tax insurance provider’s new website also features intuitive searching or filtering and enhanced accessibility.

“This marks a step change for Qdos and our customers,” chief executive Seb Maley said in an emailed release. “We have a new look and feel, which better reflects the diverse range of workers and businesses we support, but this is much more than a rebrand alone.

“We have transformed how our customers can purchase insurance policies and access the help and support they need. Whether they’re looking for insurance or advice, we have prioritized relevance, speed, and simplicity. In our opinion, this should be the direction of travel for insurance providers in the digital age.”

Established in 1988 and acquired by Tokio Marine HCC three decades later, Qdos provides a range of business insurance policies to more than 100,000 freelancers and contractors, and to thousands of organizations that engage flexible workers. Last year, the Leicester-based business won its second Queen’s Award for Enterprise.
