Texas Mutual Insurance Company reaffirms its commitment to supporting non-profit organizations throughout Texas, allocating $8 million this year for distribution. This investment aims to bolster generational learning, workforce development, and safety training initiatives, marking the fourth consecutive year of such support.
The grants will be allocated through two request-for-proposal cycles, the first focusing on generational impact and the second on workforce development and safety training. The application process for the first cycle opens on April 15, followed by the second cycle on August 19.
Organizations seeking funding are encouraged to apply for grants ranging from $25,000 to $100,000, tailored to their specific needs and organizational size. To qualify for funding, entities must be Texas-based 501(c)(3) organizations actively engaged in delivering assistance and services to communities within the state.
Sekiguchi, a representative of Texas Mutual, emphasized the importance of these grants in fostering resilient and thriving communities: “The grants will help ensure Texas non-profits have the necessary resources to flourish and grow. We’re proud to support stronger, safer, and more resilient communities for generations to come.”
To provide guidance to potential applicants, the Texas Mutual community affairs team will host an informational webinar on April 24.
This initiative builds upon Texas Mutual’s longstanding commitment to community investment, with over $60 million contributed to various projects across the state since 2016.
