WTW has announced the appointment of Giovanni Smyth as a local leader for North and Latin America for its Insurance Consulting and Technology (ITC) industry. Smyth has worked across the insurance value chain and has expertise in distribution, underwriting, pricing, reserving and capital modelling.

Smyth joins WTW from Nationwide Mutual, where he led data, analytics and reporting organizations for the property and casualty division. Before that, he held specialized and leadership roles in the company’s enterprise risk and capital management business. Smith also served in undertakings roles across the company’s life and financial services and P&C divisions.
