Akur8, a Paris-based InsurTech firm, has entered into a strategic partnership with Post Telecommunication Joint Stock Insurance Corporation (PTI), one of Vietnam’s leading non-life insurers, to enhance its actuarial capabilities.
As part of the collaboration, PTI will implement Akur8’s advanced pricing platform to ensure greater fairness and competitiveness in its insurance pricing strategies.
In response to the rapid digital transformation of Vietnam’s insurance industry, this move positions PTI to better align with market trends and demands. Akur8’s machine-learning-driven platform accelerates the development of actuarial models, promotes transparency, and enables data-driven pricing—critical factors for the property and casualty (P&C) insurance market.
With the new platform, PTI aims to gain deeper insights into its portfolio, increase pricing agility, and foster stronger collaboration between its actuarial and business teams.
In a successful pilot phase, PTI created hundreds of models within a month, demonstrating the platform’s speed, flexibility, and transparency. Additionally, Akur8’s comprehensive support and user-friendly interface played a crucial role in the success of the partnership.
