OX Security Secures $60 Million In Series B Funding Round

OX Security, a leading provider of next-generation application security solutions, has secured $60 million in a Series B funding round to fuel its continued growth and innovation in the cybersecurity sector.

The round was led by DTCP, with additional support from prominent investors including Swisscom Ventures, IBM, Evolution Equity Partners, Microsoft, and Team8. This latest infusion of capital brings OX Security’s total funding to $94 million since its founding in 2021.

Established in the wake of the SolarWinds breach, OX Security has quickly positioned itself as a key player in the application security market. Its innovative platform leverages proprietary Code Projection technology, designed to identify and prioritize vulnerabilities that present genuine threats to business operations. Unlike traditional tools that often generate overwhelming volumes of alerts, OX’s approach focuses on reachability, exploitability, and real-world impact, providing actionable insights throughout the software development lifecycle.

The newly raised capital will be directed towards global expansion, accelerated product development, and the enhancement of its AI-driven risk assessment capabilities. OX aims to empower enterprises to move beyond reactive security practices, adopting a proactive, risk-based approach that significantly reduces their exposure to cyber threats.

In the past year, OX Security has seen rapid market traction, achieving $10 million in revenue and tripling its customer base. Its platform is now trusted by over 200 companies, including industry giants like Microsoft, IBM, SoFi, and eToro.

“OX represents a true paradigm shift in application security. Its code projection and precise prioritization tackle the long-standing challenges of legacy security tools, which have been overwhelmed by excessive, often noisy alerts. As generative AI drives code creation beyond human scale, OX consolidates fragmented AppSec solutions into a unified, highly accurate platform, effectively securing the rapidly expanding digital attack surface.”
