Global insurance and insurtech firms Aon, Previsico, and Rokstone Agriculture Farm and Ranch have announced a series of senior leadership appointments, naming Christian Hoffman, Mark Trumper, and Jessica Rusnak to prominent new roles.
Aon appoints Christian Hoffman as global commercial risk CEO
Aon plc has named Christian Hoffman as global chief executive officer of Commercial Risk, effective June 1, 2026.
In his new role, Hoffman will oversee Aon’s global commercial risk operations and report directly to Joe Peiser, CEO of Aon’s Risk Capital division. He will collaborate with regional leadership teams and Aon Business Services to deliver analytics-driven solutions designed to help clients manage increasingly complex risk challenges.
Hoffman brings more than 25 years of experience across the insurance and financial services industries, having worked as both a broker and underwriter. He currently serves as Aon’s global specialty and financial products leader, as well as head of mergers and acquisitions for North America. His remit includes oversight of financial services, cyber solutions, intellectual property, crisis management, and credit solutions businesses.
Since joining Aon in 2003, Hoffman has held several senior leadership positions, including global cyber leader, CEO of cyber solutions for North America, and president of US cyber solutions. Prior to joining Aon, he spent five years at Chubb as an underwriting manager and senior underwriter.
Previsico appoints Mark Trumper to lead international growth
Previsico has appointed Mark Trumper as chief executive officer as the company accelerates its global expansion strategy.
Based in London, the flood forecasting insurtech said Trumper will oversee operational delivery and business scaling across the UK, while also driving growth in the US and other international markets.
Trumper joins the company from Axco Insurance Information, where he served as managing director for five years.
He succeeds Jonathan Jackson, who is stepping down from his full-time executive responsibilities as part of a planned retirement. Jackson will continue supporting the business during the leadership transition period.
Rokstone Agriculture appoints Jessica Rusnak as senior underwriter
Rokstone Agriculture Farm and Ranch has named Jessica Rusnak as senior underwriter amid record growth for the division in 2026.
Rusnak joins from Westfield Insurance, where she spent 10 years advancing through a series of leadership positions, including market underwriter, operations manager, and underwriting practices and quality assurance manager.
She brings more than 15 years of experience spanning underwriting, operations, compliance, and product development. Her previous experience also includes roles at Amica Mutual Insurance and Montana Insurance Agency.
Rusnak’s expertise includes workflow management, straight-through processing analysis, data-optimised risk placement, and emerging risk assessment. Most recently, she served as chair of the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies Commercial & Personal Lines Seminar.
