Three organisations have announced senior leadership changes as the insurance and risk management sectors respond to evolving market demands, including the rapid adoption of AI, the rising importance of non-financial risk oversight, and the need for stronger commercial strategies within mutual insurance businesses.
FurtherAI expands UK and EU presence amid growing AI adoption in insurance
Insurance-focused AI platform FurtherAI has appointed Tom Bradley to head its UK and EU operations as demand for AI-driven solutions continues to grow across the London insurance market.
Bradley joins the company from Azur Technology, where he oversaw US commercial operations and supported MGAs and insurers through digital transformation initiatives. He also played a role in launching several MGAs in both the US and UK markets. Based in London, he will focus on building FurtherAI’s regional team and strengthening the company’s existing partnerships across the UK.
FurtherAI has already built a notable presence in the US market, working with carriers and MGAs such as Accelerant, Upland and Novacore. Its AI platform has been developed specifically for insurance workflows, helping firms manage complex broker submissions, policy wording variations and fragmented core system processes that are often difficult for generic AI tools to address.

Mignola succeeds Lisa Broomer and will lead the organisation as operational and non-financial risk management continue to gain strategic significance across the financial services sector.
Britannia P&I Club reshapes leadership team
Britannia P&I Club has announced changes to its senior leadership structure, promoting Helen Todd to chief underwriting officer and appointing Simon Williams to the newly created role of chief commercial officer, effective June 1, 2026.
The restructuring follows Mike Hall’s appointment as CEO earlier this year and signals the club’s intention to strengthen its commercial focus while maintaining its established underwriting standards.
Todd joined Britannia in 2018 and was named deputy chief underwriting officer in 2024. With more than two decades of P&I underwriting experience, she will now oversee the club’s global underwriting operations.
Williams, who joined the organisation in 2017 and became chief underwriting officer in 2022, will work closely with Hall in his new commercial leadership role to support the club’s broader growth ambitions.
