The Everest Group board of directors has announced the appointment of Jim Williamson as the company’s president and chief executive officer, effective immediately.
Williamson, who had been serving as acting CEO, joined Everest in 2020 and has held several key leadership roles, including executive vice president, group chief operating officer, and head of the reinsurance and insurance divisions. With more than 20 years of experience in the property and casualty (P&C) insurance industry, Williamson has previously held senior positions at prominent companies such as The Hartford, Chubb, and ACE.
