One of the most comprehensive global specialty insurance and reinsurance, MGA Rokstone, a part of Aventum Group, has announced the promotion of Ian Anson to managing director.
Anson has been working in the group since last year as a portfolio manager, and now he has been promoted to managing director in only 18 months.
In this new role as managing director of Rokstone’s Global Group, Anson will be working with the CEO and CUO to support growth ambitions across the group.
Before joining Rokstone, Anson spent his six years (from 2013) working at Alescoo Risk Management Services. Here, in the beginning, he was a placing broker for four years and then he got promoted to associate partner in 2017.
During this promotion, James Potter, CEO of Rokstone, commented that Ian joined the group just 18 months ago to take up a portfolio manager role. The company knew that they were securing one of the brightest new talents in the market. Ian has already delivered multiple commercial growth opportunities and capably given a demonstration of outstanding leadership qualities. His advanced commercial, strategy and Critical thinking would make him an exemplary candidate.
Anson stated he wanted to join one of the most entrepreneurial businesses in the London insurance market. Rokstone seems to be an inspiring business to join and has undoubtedly proved to be the case.
As Managing Director, Ian will be the driving force on the company’s journey to becoming the world’s best global reinsurance and insurance specialty business.
