SMi’s 14th Annual Defence Exports Conference to kick off on 24th September

SMi-14th-Annual-Defence-Exports-ConferenceSMi’s 14th Annual Defence Exports conference is all set to attract a global audience of trade compliance professionals from Governments, Defence Corporations, Law Firms and Consultancies. With just 3 weeks left for the event, attendance is pouring with a wide variety of nations attending such as: Belgium, France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, USA and more.

Over the two days, 25 -26 September, the first day event agenda will explore US related export policies and regulations whereas Day 2 agenda will address aspect associated with the rest of the world. Gary Stanley President of Global Legal Services will chair the conference hosting presentations and panel debates on international case studies, EU regulations and BREXIT. The event will also host experts from various government bodies such as DDTC, French MoD, Royal Netherlands Air Force and more.

Apart from two day conference, the event will have an opportunity to organize 4 focused workshops on Tuesday 24 September and Friday 27 September that will highlight Jurisdiction, Classification, and Licensing for U.S. Suppliers; Managing Export Compliance with U.S. Suppliers; Identification and Management of Export Controlled Technical Information Within the UK Ministry of Defence; and Defense and Dual-Use Export Controls of Asia Pacific Countries.
